CROW RIVER SOCCER CLUB – COVID-19 PLAN AND PROCESS

  1. Kelly Stanley will serve as the Primary contact for any Covid-19 related questions or to report a positive case OR association with a Covid-19 positive person.  If a case of COVID-19 is reported to our club and is a part of our organization, we intend to report the case to the Minnesota Department of Health at health.sports.covid19@state.mn.us  Close contacts at a Crow River Soccer Event and family members will need to quarantine for 14 days. If the individual was in close contact with the positive individual they will need to quarantine 14days since last exposure to the individual who tested positive.
  2. 3. Those who were not in close contact could remain practicing and monitor for symptoms. Crow River Soccer will contact Com Ed if you are informed of a positive case of Covid-19
  3. All club members and their immediate families are required to complete a self check prior to attending any club sponsored event. 

 

Symptoms of COVID-19 can include cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, headache, muscle pain, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell. Other less common symptoms include gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after you are exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19. Not everyone with COVID-19 has all of these symptoms, and some people may not have any symptoms. 

Talk to your health care provider if you have questions.  I uncertain, all family members will remain home and should not attend.

3.     All adult spectators are required to appropriately social distance of at least 6 feet.  A face covering will be recommended for all adults, but only required if the event is indoors.

4.     Players and coaches will be encouraged to stand 6 feet apart and if a social distance of 6 feet cannot be maintained, coaches should wear a facemask.  Players will not be required to wear a facemask at any time during the practice or play period so long as the activity is held outdoors.

5.     ALL players are required to either wash their hands thoroughly or use hand sanitizer prior to arriving and as soon as possible upon the completion of the event.  No high fives or handshakes will take place and instead a wave will be employed.

6.     If a player or family member of a player identifies themselves as Covid-19 positive, CRSC will do the following.  We will ask the affected family to remain home and NOT to return to activities for a minimum of 14 days or until they are symptom free for 6 days, whichever is longer.  If that player was in contact with other club members, we will attempt to inform all involved parties of a possible exposure.  They will be directed to the CDC.gov website on what to look for and when to seek treatment.  If additional cases develop, suspension of all club affiliated activities will be postponed for a minimum of 14 days.
